He's reading...

Monday we tried three times to meet up with Tiffany and Cole for a playdate. First we were going to go to the Florida Aquarium but Tiffany had to take a test so we would have gotten a late start on that one. Then we decided to meet at Backyard Adventures (which by the way is closed on Mondays). Finally we went stopped for some snacks and headed to Lake Bonny Park where the weather was beautiful. We were there for almost 3 hours.

Tuesday I had a board meeting that night at Crispers...it's getting very close to time for me to take over as president.

When Jay and L.J. got home L.J. was excited to read Jay his second book for the week. He is actually reading and understanding a little bit. I know they are reading the books at school, but he really seems to follow along and say each word as he points to it.

31 Cent Scoop Night...I told L.J. we would go get ice cream if he helped willingly clean up the playroom. We threw away a whole garbage bag full of broken toys, pieces of paper (directions to toys, papers out of DVD cases, etc.) that he collects and miscellaneous other junk. It looks so good when it's clean...let's see how long it stays that way.

After dinner we went to Baskin Robbins for a couple scoops of ice cream. It was pretty busy and they had a lot going on there. yum!!

Today I ran around town collecting donations for L.J.'s Trike-A-Thon that is at school tomorrow and ran a few other errands (like stocking up on our Luna bars for breakfast). Then I came home and tackled his closet. It now only has clothes he can currently wear...yay! I filled 3 boxes and 3 bags full of outgrown clothing and shoes. Now his closet looks empty.
