Ducks, swans, and swimming...

Wednesday we celebrated Earth Day a little early since L.J. would be at Janie's on Thursday. We planted seeds in some recycled water bottles and L.J. can't wait for them to bloom. Then we did a little rock painting and it ended up with us painting our feet too. We had a great day!

Today we got to visit L.J.'s elementary school for the first time for the Kindergarten Round-up. We got information on all the important things to know, got him all signed up and met some of the teachers. The kids got to do an art project, a dance movement activity, met with the teachers and went through the lunch line for a cookie and juice. L.J. loved it and can't wait to go next school year.

The Lakeland Derby Swan Races and Duck Derby was tonight so L.J. and I went down when it started and Jay came down later. We watched a couple of the swan boat races, made a duck hat, decorated a duck cookie and then ate dinner at Texas Cattle Co.

Saturday Jay and Dad went to Bradenton fishing while Mom and I took the boys to Animal Kingdom. We saw the Nemo and Lion King shows, watched the Bug's Life 3D show and went on the safari ride. Afterwards we went back to mom and dad's for some swimming and dinner.

Sunday we went out to Corey's house for a cookout and some swimming. L.J. ended up swimming most of the time we were there...almost 7 hours.
