Bad t-ball and a sickly kiddo...

Monday night we had L.J.'s 2nd t-ball practice. He was so excited on the way there (wearing his helmet the whole way in the car). When I got there Dave and Janie showed up to watch him so I left to go to the VPK Parent meeting at the school. The meeting was short and I went back to the ball field just in time to see L.J. sit on the field crying that he had to go to the bathroom. Jay took him off the field and then he just continued to cry and say that he didn't want to go back out. I tried to convince him that he needed to go back with the team since I don't want him to think he can just quit things in life. No use...he was done. We came home and he ate half his dinner and then passed out on the couch. So maybe he didn't feel well..hmm.

Tuesday we stayed home most of the day until I had to go to a Budget Meeting. Jay had to look at a job at the ball field so I dropped L.J. off there. He was all excited thinking he was going to play so maybe Saturday practice will be better.

08.18.09 - an Ocean themed lunch


Today he woke up and got in bed with us and was very restless. Then he was whiny all morning before school. When I picked him up the teacher said he was very emotional today. Mom and Dad returned from camping so we went to see them for a while and L.J. started feeling warm. When we got home he had a temp of 102. A little dose of Motrin and a quick nap and he seems to be so much better. He's now jumping around like a Power Ranger and his temp is back to normal. Hopefully it was just something simple and won't come back.
