T-Ball and Scalloping...

Thursday L.J. went to Janie's while I did some things around the house. That morning before we left he played with the starfish that we have been watching grow in water all week. He was amazed that it had gotten so big.

Friday he had a special program at school that was presented by Campfire. It was "Amp'd About Animals" and he got to make a little zoo sign and a monkey face out of a CD.

Saturday was the first t-ball practice. L.J. really seemed to enjoy it other than the one crying episode he had because some other kid beat him to the ball...he's a little on the competitive side. Jay ended up out on the field helping the coach too so it was a good father/son bonding moment. :)

After practice we headed down to Homosassa where Corey, Jenn, Brooklynn and Hal were already at. We went out scalloping that afternoon and then over to the springs to let the kiddos play and swim. We went out to eat that night at Chili's in Crystal River and then stayed overnight.

Sunday we got up and did it all over again. There was a bad weather advisory, but it was really just overcast with a few sprinkles so we went out in the Gulf for a while and then went to the springs. When we got back we went over to the Fishers for dinner and got to see Scott and Gina who came in over the weekend.
