Halloween Fun!

Friday at L.J.'s school they had a fall festival. I went to help out with the games and activities. They got to parade around the parking lot with a ton of parents standing along the sidelines snapping a million pics. Then they played in the bounce house, went on a hayride, did a candy hunt in one room and then played various carnival type games (pin the nose on the pumpkin, find the pumpkin in the hay, the leaf walk...similar to a cake walk). He had a blast. It was nice to be there at school with him to to see how he reacts with the other kids. He's definitely more outgoing than I thought he would be. I ate lunch with his class and then helped clean up while he bounced a little more.

He was Spiderman for school that day and later became Buzz Lightyear...

That night we went to Whisperwood for the annual Halloween party. We ate hotdogs and boiled peanuts, L.J. quickly made friends with Cale and they chased each other around and then after the boys got there we went trick-or-treating. Mike brought a hayride for the kids to get them down the street easier. L.J. really understood this year and was loving going up and getting candy at each house. He was one of the littler kids, but he just pushed his way right through to make sure he wasn't left out.

Saturday I went to volunteer at the Polk NatureFest helping kids make paper butterflies and ladybugs. After that we took the boys to Cypress Gardens for a while and then hung out at mom's house.



Sunday we just had a relaxing day recovering from all the Halloween fun.
