This week at school they studied the letter "H", made hot blueberry muffins, went to computer class and reviewed their numbers and letters.
At home he's done a lot of tricycle riding and playing outside since the weather was so nice. We went to vote on Tuesday and he got his own "I Voted" sticker and got to help the little poll worker ladies with handing out the pencils.
I ordered my laptop on Tuesday and it got here on Friday - Woohoo!!! Merry Christmas to me! So this week I have been getting all the accessories that I needed for it.
Thursday L.J. went to stay with Janie for the day and I went to the mall. I was able to get L.J. some cute long sleeve shirts and pants on sale since he had basically nothing for cool weather.
Jay left Thursday night for Georgia and shot his first deer of the season (that he could find) on Friday morning. It was a smaller one, but it was good for him to get that first one out of his system and they got to eat good for the weekend. He said they saw a ton of deer throughout the weekend and he ended up shooting one more before they left on Sunday.
L.J. and I spent the weekend at Christy's house. Friday night Christy, Caleb, L.J. and I went to Kumo for dinner. L.J. loved the chef cooking for us. He was tossing food at L.J. to catch in his mouth and L.J. kept cheering for him when he cracked the egg and speared the lemon. L.J. loves the japanese restaurants, except for the fire part.
Bryant was home with a gimp knee from a scratch that got infected so he was a little puny all weekend. He ended up going to the hospital on Sunday and they admitted him for the night to pump him full of IV antibiotics.
Saturday night Mom, Christy and I went to see Sugarland at a local park. It was kind of a chaotic scene as we parked the car there at 12:00, went to eat lunch and walked back in at 1:30 to stand in line until 3:30 when we finally got in the gates. Then the show didn't start until 5:00 and there was at least 20 minutes in between performances so it was a long day. We had a good time though, saw Adam Gregory, Ashton Shepard, Kellie Pickler (love her...she put on a great show) and then finally Sugarland. They were awesome and had a great stage set up and a show packed with energy. Jennifer Nettles just bounces all over the stage. It sucked that once it got dark my crappy camera wouldn't take good pics, but oh well...we know we were there.
Here are some pics...SUGARLAND WEEKEND PHOTOS
