How can you not like the gym???

I finally decided to write about this today because yesterday I was a little aggravated with L.J.'s tantrums. Now that we have had a good day today, I can write about it without so much emotion. He is completely trying my last nerve when we go to public playdates now. Yesterday I took him to GymEtc for their new Mommy & Me group. They have a huge area set up for ages 1-3 with all kinds of big mats, 2 bounce houses, a long trampoline and some other stuff to climb all over. I thought it was the coolest thing ever for his age group and the price was just right - only $4 for an hour. Anyway, L.J. lasted about 15 minutes before he started in. He pulled some poor little girl's hair, pushed down another little boy and then proceeded to lay on the mat and kick and cry. The owner was standing there and his comment was kinda funny "At least he's not going to get hurt doing it on the mat". I tried to make it better, but we ended up leaving after 1/2 hour. It seems like every time we go to a playdate now, he acts up and wants to leave. What gives???

Anyway, today was much better. He had swimming and then I took him down to Explorations Children's Museum for some free play.

He also had another tooth break through on the bottom so maybe that has something to do with it - we'll see.

On another note: My brother-in-law Brian's mom is in the hospital, hopefully we will hear something soon as to what they can do for her heart, but until then we will just keep her in our thoughts.
