Gymboree Play is way better than Art!

Well we went to the first Gymboree Play class today and L.J. loved it (except for the parachute). The whole concept today was in/out. So they put balls in a hoop, in a big cylinder that they had to climb up to, put bean bags in a grid, put themselves through a tunnel, etc. Near the end they did this activity with the Air Log (big blown up cylinder shape). They played this song and the kids were supposed to beat on the air log until the music said "Freeze". When it did, they were supposed to stop and put their hands on their head. He thought this was the greatest thing ever. He just smiled and laughed the whole time - go figure he'd have fun beating on something - I'm just glad it wasn't another child. After the 45 minute class he was ready to go when they said bye and didn't make a fuss at all about going. What a good morning!

We are gearing up for Family Fest tomorrow at Munn Park. Last night the Juniors cut up a gazillion strawberries to make Strawberry Shortcake at the event. My hands are still red and my back is still tired, but we had a good group come out to help so the time went pretty fast.
