Lots of Disney & a wet Halloween

Tuesday we got our Disney passes. Now we get to go all year long!!!! That night we had a board meeting and had a face painter come in to train some of the juniors for an upcoming event. I left Louis Pappa's that night with a kitty cat face, which L.J. loved when I got home.

Wednesday L.J.'s decorated pumpkin was due at school. He named it "Little Bill" and covered it with different color feathers.

Thursday I made creepy sandwiches for L.J.'s party the next day. Peanut butter and jelly ghosts, witch's fingers (ham and cheese) and goblin's tongues (bologna and cream cheese).

Friday was Mom's birthday. That morning was L.J.'s fall festival at school. They all dressed up and got to parade around the parking lot. Then they played games, made pumpkin pudding, jumped in the bounce house and went on a hayride. He loves the parties at school. Then Mom, Bryant and Caleb met us at the school and we headed over to the Magic Kingdom. We spent most of the afternoon into the night there and rode almost everything. We even sang Happy Birthday to mom at the table when we ate dinner.

Saturday morning we all headed over to Hollywood Studios. Dad, Brian and I rode the Rockin Rollercoaster which was very cool. Then we rode the Toy Story ride which the kids LOVED followed by a meeting with the Power Rangers...L.J. was in heaven. We also rode Star Tours and saw the Indiana Jones stunt show that L.J. then talked about for days. I think I need to get him one of the movies because he really liked it.

That night we went over to Dave and Janie's for the annual Halloween party. Everything was going well until it started raining as soon as we started trick-or-treating. We got back to the house and then just decided to go back out in the sprinkling. We were already wet so it wasn't a big deal.

Sunday Jay, L.J. and I all went back to the Magic Kingdom. L.J. was so excited to show his Daddy all the rides, especially the Pirates of the Caribbean and Buzz Lightyear. Jay hasn't been to Disney in a very long time so I think he enjoyed seeing it again too.

Monday was L.J.'s last baseball game of the season. He finally slid into home both times he was up. They all got cupcakes after the game and a little Louisville Slugger with their names engraved on them. After the game I stayed to work the concession stand while Jay and L.J. went home. Jay has learned to put the window lock on in the truck now after L.J. embarrassed him at the Wendy's drive thru that night. He already had the CD that came in his meal so he started yelling at the lady "hey dude, we've already got this one!!!". too funny!

Tuesday night we had to count Poker chips for our tournament this weekend so L.J. went with me to Campfire to do it. He had a ball playing with Sandra's son Zachary. They play fought with all the swords and axes from the haunted house there. Afterwards we went to Ling's Buffet to meet Jay for dinner upon L.J.'s request. When I asked him where he wanted to go he said "the place with the little bridge where we eat the shrimp". HAHA!

Wednesday was a quiet day but we made L.J.'s dessert request - chocolate covered bananas...hey at least it's fruit.

Today after work I went to the scrapbook store to get an album for my December Daily album. Hopefully this year I will actually finish it.
