Gardening and Fishing

Thursday L.J. and I went to Cypress Gardens for a few hours. We got there at 10 and the rides don't open until 11 (which I didn't know) so we walked through the gardens and he danced to the music by the gazebo for a while. He was pretty good, but got upset when we had to get off a couple rides so other people could have a turn.

Friday we went over to see Grandpa. He let L.J. help him pick some oranges for us and showed him the new pineapples that are growing.

Yesterday we went fishing in the morning on our lake. Only caught one little one...it was a rough day of fishing. L.J. is getting a lot better at his casting. Jay put a little plug on his line this time (after taking the hooks off of it). He kept casting and reeling (and of course eating all the snacks we brought). Here's a video of him casting...CASTING LIKE A PRO
Then we went to buy some plants and seeds for our little garden idea. We got two tomato plants and one pepper plant. Then we got seeds for watermelon, cabbage, cucumbers, zucchini, and squash. Today Jay and L.J. stayed home and planted the garden while I went to get groceries. We'll see in a few months how everything comes up.

And some new layouts...Credits HERE
