PICS FROM BOWLING
That night we went over to Medieval Times for the dinner show. I was a little worried at how L.J. would do sitting through the show, but he LOVED it. We got him a big yellow flag and he sat there with his crown waving the flag and cheering "Go Yellow" all night. He was really excited every time the horses came out and would ask where they went when they left the arena. "Where horseys go?" He also ate a pretty good meal...it was definitely right up his alley with the chicken, garlic bread and apple dessert.
PICS FROM MEDIEVAL TIMES
Sunday was Easter and we did our whirlwind trip around Lakeland. First L.J. came down to see what the bunny brought to our house...a Mr. Potato Head, Buzz Lightyear Bubble Bath, an ABC book, and a bunch of other goodies. Then we headed over to Mom and Dad's and opened gifts with the boys. The guys had all gone fishing that morning so I took the boys down to the ramp to see the fish they caught. Then we went back to eat our first meal of the day and did an egg hunt at Mom and Dad's. They got the boys a trampoline (to keep in their backyard) for Easter. L.J. gets bounced around pretty well when he's in there with the boys since his balance is not quite what theirs is, but he was laughing the whole time.
Next we went to Jay's Aunt Sheryl's. We ate a little more, L.J. walked around with a magnifying glass looking for clues and played the piano and then we did another egg hunt over there. By this time I think he was just about over the hunts. His interest faded fast.
We left there and went back to Mom and Dad's. The boys had gone to Brian's uncle's house so L.J. had the trampoline all to his self. I got in and jumped with him holding his hands so he could get some air. What a workout! Then I asked him if he wanted to go swimming (Dad had the heater on). He got all excited put on his swim diaper and bathing suit and as soon as I unlatched the gate he went 1.2.3.Go and jumped in...UH OH!!! Panic set in and he forgot how to swim. I had to bend down and reach out and grab him and bring him over to the side. Then he was a little scared and wanted out. Mom sat there beside the pool while I ran in to put on a suit. After I got in with him he was a little braver and started to remember what to do. We'll have to start going to over there during the week so I can work with him and get him back up to fish status.
After a crazy and long day we made it home and L.J. went straight to bed.
