The Joys of being a SAHM, Hat Obsession and New Haircuts!

I started something with L.J. I bought French Fries and made them and chicken nuggets for him one day last week in the oven for lunch. Now every day he comes to me before I even bring up lunch and says "Chicken, Fries, Oven On". Ahhh....the joys of being a stay-at-home mom. I get to now actually cook something for him for lunch. What happened to the PB & Js??? haha...I guess it's a trade off that's worth it. A little extra time making lunch with him standing at the oven door asking if they are "ready yet?" means a little more time of him talking and making conversation with me that is just so cute.

Sunday night we went to Saltwater Grill with mom and dad for dinner. We thought it would be packed because of the Superbowl, but we were the only people in there. Weird! That place is so good, reasonably priced and has TVs everywhere with a bar, how could you not want to watch it there.

Monday I took L.J. to get a haircut and it is a lot more boyish and shorter than usual. I love it. She buzzed the back and then trimmed the top.

Tuesday we went and had lunch with the LMOMs at Crispers. L.J. was the oldest kid there because so many of them that are around his age have already started going to school. Oh well...he will soon enough.

He has also started a new obsession with hats. He wears his baseball caps all around the house and he just looks so darn cute in them. Then in the car he found the blue toboggan that I keep in there so now he wears that going down the road. It's funny what kids get attached to.

Here's some new layouts for me this week...

And Mom helped me with the journaling on this one...
