Picture Time...

Today I took L.J. to have his 2 year old pictures taken. I was absolutely dreading it, but the girl was pretty good at just snapping away so we got some cute ones. I'll post them when we get them back.

Then I took him to Art Gecko to pick up the plate I made for him and I thought I would let him paint something while we were there. I picked out a cute little gecko for him to mess with. The boy does not understand painting with a brush. I was trying to show him how to dip the brush in the paint and then put it on the piece. He kept trying to take the lid off the brush like a pen. He just kept grabbing the end of it and pulling like crazy. We tried the sponge, but he didn't like the feel of that. Anyway, we got most of it covered and then made a beeline out the door. What an ordeal - I think we'll stick to the crayons!
