Taking a trip!

Today L.J. and I did our obligatory weekly trip to Walmart for things like toothpaste, razors, etc. Very exciting stuff! We also managed to leave with a Dora Pirate DVD and some Diego Bubble Bath. My what I will buy just to keep L.J. occupied so I can pick out a lipstick and a new shirt.

We came home and he played for a long time until finally he was about to fall asleep around 1:30 so I put him down for his nap. Before the nap, he was walking around in just a diaper and a t-shirt since I didn't put his shorts back on after I changed him last. He walked into the downstairs bathroom, put the little seat on the toilet and then went to pull off his diaper while saying "pee". I took it off and set him up there and he dangled his legs for a while and never went. I think maybe it's time to really get serious and start the potty training. I didn't think he was ready and still don't think he's going to be completely trained anytime soon, but if he is going to make the effort I think I should too.

Tomorrow we are heading down to Christy's for Bryant's Pre-K graduation. Should be an interesting ceremony. That's it for now!
