Eat!

L.J. has been saying eat for a while now, but not like he knew what he was talking about. All of a sudden this past week he says it every time we pull into a restaurant or when he can smell food. It is so cute!

Over the weekend Mom watched him Saturday while I went to Corinne's Baby Shower and Jay worked. The number of houses being built is increasing finally so Jay ended up working all weekend. Good in some ways...not in others.

Saturday night we went to eat at Applebeee's with Nanny, Lisa Gail, Heather, Randy and Tammy. Then we all went back to Nanny's for dessert. It was a good Mother's Day dinner with mom's side of the family.

Sunday we went to Ed and Bunny's for brunch with Jay's family. It was really nice because they had hired a babysitter for all the kids so the moms could eat in peace. I actually got to eat with both hands, have dessert too and then sit and listen to the conversation. Wow - what a mother's day for me! Later that day mom came out to our house to walk, but it started to storm so we had to nix that idea.

Yesterday I took L.J. to gymnastics and he was a little whiny thing. Then we came home and he was like that the rest of the day and wouldn't eat any dinner. It was even spaghetti which is one of his favs. I think his stomach might have been a little upset.

Today he was a totally different kid. We went to swim lessons with no crying and then to Lake Bonny for our LMOM playdate. He played really well with Josh and Regan. He had to run twice as fast as them just to keep up, but he did it laughing the whole time. He decorated a frisbee which was this month's craft and then we came home so he could nap before going to Gram and Daddy Dave's tonight.
