Mommy Mistake...

Well today I got L.J. up, fed, dressed and ready to go swimming early. It was so nice not to rush. We got there in plenty of time to change him into his swim diaper and head out to the empty pool!!! There were no lessons today!!! Usually they have it posted by the pool but there was nothing this week. I really think they should have mentioned that on Tuesday when we were there. So anyway, I took him back into the locker room and changed him back into clothes with him whimpering and looking at me like I took away a toy. I felt so bad and would have just taken him in the pool myself if I had had a suit with me. Oh well, he'll get to go next week.

After the non-lesson we went to visit Grandpa for a while. L.J. ate 2 cookies, tormented the cats and pushed the little grocery cart around before we headed home for a nap. Grandpa proudly showed me a watch that he brought back from Germany for Grandma that he finally found in all her stuff. He took it and had it fixed so that it would keep time again. It was nice to see him excited about it.
