Easter...

Friday I did some Easter shopping while L.J. was in school. I also went around getting bins and fliers made for our Shoe Drive.

Saturday we went to Anna Maria/Bradenton with Mom and Dad. We caught lots of trout that day and got ALOT of sun. We even made a little trip to Sweetberries on the way back. That night we went out to Corey and Jenn's to watch the fight.

Sunday we went back over to Corey's and the kiddos played in the dirt pile that he had in the yard from scraping it for concrete. L.J. got way dirtier than I thought he would. When they were done they jumped in the hot tub to rinse off.

Monday I got my haircut after school and work and then we had an afternoon at home exercising and cooking spaghetti and meatballs.

Tuesday we dyed eggs and then decorated them like little people and aliens. They had fuzzy hair and antennas.

Wednesday we met some of the Juniors at Campfire to come up with a surprise for Alice's outgoing luncheon as Director of Junior Clubs for the state. While we were busy, L.J. got to play with Sandra's son Zachary.

Thursday was L.J.'s Easter party at school. They made dirt cup pudding, had an egg hunt and ate lots of yummy food for lunch.

Friday we headed down to Port Charlotte with Mom and Dad. Christy, Brian, Jay and the boys all got there later in the day.

Saturday we went out on the boat and caught several fish...trout, mackerel, ladyfish(yuck) and sheepshead. We went back to the house and hung out there while the guys went back out later that night.

Easter Sunday! We started out with breakfast and an egg hunt at the Port Charlotte house with the boys. Then we came back and went over to Aunt Sheryl's house for lunch and another hunt. L.J. was pretty good at spotting them this year and got a lot of eggs. After lunch we decided to just come home and relax for the rest of the day.
