Wednesday we tried out the window crayons that Aunt Barb got for L.J. He loves writing on the big picture window on the back of the house. He even drew a whole story about how it was raining, then the sun and rainbow came out and then he blasted off into space before returning to Earth to slide down the roof into the house...true story? haha

Thursday night when Jay got home we played our final game of balloon ball. We had been playing with the same balloons all week long. He liked playing "as a family" as he kept saying. We would just bounce it back and forth seeing who would drop it first. Sadly the balloon ended up with a hole in it and it disappeared.

Friday I spent the morning at home, first time in a long time. Then later we went to Sonny's to meet Jay for dinner and rented The Hangover to watch at home. While definitely not a kid movie L.J. did lay on the couch with us for part of it. I was afraid he may pick up on the "bad words" in it, but the only one he noticed as a bad word was "stupid"...ah...to be 4 and innocent again.

Saturday was a rainy, miserable weather day. Jay went to work for a little bit and L.J. and I went to Explorations V for Dr. Seuss Day. He listened to the reading of The Tooth Book and got a free toothbrush and listened to The Cat and the Hat and made a little cat out of a puzzle piece. Afterwards we went to Books-A-Million and got a new Skippyjon Jones book and toy. Then we spent some time at Jerry and Linda's while Jay hung some fans for them. That night we ate dinner at Ling's with Mom and Dad and L.J. went home with them for a "sleepover". Jay and I headed home to watch Couples Retreat.

Sunday we ate lunch at Dave and Janie's to visit with Byron and Charlene and their friends that all came down from Georgia. Then we went out to Corey's to help build a fence. After the construction was done we went over to Tater's house so L.J. could ride the horse. He kept saying "Yeehaw Cowboy" while he was riding.

Monday was peanut butter lover's day so we made homemade peanut butter cups. Then when Jay got off work we went over to Eagle Lake to fish for a little bit.

Tuesday we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday with green eggs and ham for breakfast, rhyming words and we made little Sally, Conrad, Thing 1 and Thing 2 to go with L.J.'s Cat from Saturday. We also made a little house for them to play in just like the movie.
