Wednesday I had a dentist appointment for a cleaning. L.J. went with me and was SOOOOO good. He quietly sat on a chair in the room with me playing with his Batman and Joker and then was super excited to pick out a toy from the treasure chest. That night Gina came over and brought sushi for us to have one last chat session before they headed back to New York. Fun times!

Thursday I worked longer hours and L.J. went to Janie's. That night I had a fundraising meeting for Juniors.

Friday night L.J. had a game and then we went to Sonny's for dinner. His team did pretty good and actually got an "out"...even though they don't really keep score and everyone gets to run the bases.

Saturday morning we went fishing on Eagle Lake. Man was it HOT! Jay caught 3 fish and I missed a couple...darn it! That afternoon we hung around the house and then headed over to Orlando. We went to Bass Pro and then walked around Festival Bay Mall.

Sunday was a hang around the house day for the most part. We finished up our first Family Project for L.J.'s class. We had to make a family pennant telling something about what our family likes to do together. Ours of course was lots of water related activities. L.J. cut out a photo of us all on the boat, we put foamy stickers of fish and dolphin and he wrote our names and drew fish to go in the water. Then after we put it on a stick so he can carry it when they parade them through the school, Jay got the idea to glue a cork to the bottom of it...too funny! It was definitely a collaborative effort. We also worked on his sight words and he's doing really well with them...I, we, me, want, to, red, blue, yellow.
Late afternoon we went to Corey's for Jay to sight in his bow...hunting season starts soon. Then we went over to Dawn and Jody's for a cookout and swimming. L.J. swam for hours with Brian's girls and had a blast.

Today had an early dinner at Dave and Janie's and then went to L.J.'s ball game. He had quite the cheering section since Dave, Janie, Mom, Dad, Aunt Barb and Grandpa were all there. It was his first game where he didn't cry at all...maybe he's starting to like this a little bit.
