Team Building, Fishing and Cows

Monday after school L.J. and I met Aunt Barb over at mom and dad's to swim. The two of them were in the pool for 4-1/2 hours! He's such a little fish!

Tuesday we went to a playdate at Sherry's house. We swam until the rain started and then let the kids make ice cream sundaes. (It was National Ice Cream Sundae Day)

Wednesday after school we set up the Magic Rocks that Aunt Barb got L.J. for his birthday. He was completely amazed at them as they grew over the night.

Thursday L.J. went to Janie's and I took care of the car business that day...alignment and oil change. When they put the little sticker for the next oil change on the window I had to snap a pic because it showed that I would be over 100,000 the next time I took it in...this is the first car I have ever had that hit that milestone.

Friday after L.J. was done with school we went up to Chick-Fil-A for Cow Appreciation Day. Earlier in the week we had talked about it and decided to go dressed in cow stuff to get free lunch. We made cow mask/headbands, put spots on our shirts and wore "Eat Mor Chikin" signs around our necks. He was so cute when he walked up to the counter and said "Moo I want some food". After that he got a haircut and then started his weekend with my mom and dad. That night I had a meeting for the Juniors State Summer Planning which continued throughout the whole weekend...Olympic theme...super fun!

Saturday Jay went fishing in Bradenton and caught one really big trout and lots of other fish. L.J. got to swim and I was at Summer Planning.

Sunday we asked L.J. what he wanted to do and he said just like he did last Sunday..."well we could play some games". So he and Jay played Hi-Ho-Cherry-O for a while and then we went over to swim at mom and dad's. Kind of a lazy day.
