Parks and Pranks...

Monday we met up with Tiffany and Cole at the park for a little playdate. The boys got along really well and had a great time. That night L.J. went on and on about the leprechauns coming. He had been counting down on a calendar to the 17th and was so excited to see what they did to the house.

We awoke Tuesday to lots of pranks by the little green guys...playroom toys and furniture in disarray, they got into the fridge and turned an egg and the milk green, they stacked the couch cushions in the middle of the floor and even peed in the toilet leaving the green behind. LOL! Even with a pot of gold (holding Skittles and Rainbow Twizzlers) on the mantle, L.J.'s favorite part was the green pee...typical boy.


Later that day we made leprechaun hats and made shamrock cookies to finish up the festivities.

Wednesday was a quiet day. The Sears repair man came and fixed the burner on the stove and L.J. managed to find two of his CARS that he thought he had lost (they were in the couch upstairs).

Thursday L.J. went to Janie's and I had eye problems and had to wear my glasses most of the day...ugh. That night Jay, mom, dad and I all went to a fishing/boating show at Marine Supply. Mom ended up winning a charter trip for 6 in the Keys...go MOM!

Today I ran the lake (actually the majority of it this time) and then went to Cole's Birthday Party after I picked up L.J. from school. He loved running around with all the kids he hadn't seen in a while included Cole's big brother Jordan. After the party we stopped by Grandpa's house to see him and Aunt Barb. L.J. played with the cats, Grandpa gave him a "cool" hat and drug Aunt Barb all over the house looking for "treasure". I should try that form of play, he ended up with 2 bucks and some chocolate nuggets. LOL!
