Berries, bulls and bikes...

Thursday night we went out to Corey's house to watch the Gators play. L.J. and I didn't stay very long since the game started so late, but I managed to stay up and see them win once I got back to our house.

Friday Jay left for his last weekend of hunting season in Georgia. It wasn't until Sunday when he got the chance to shoot something, but then he ended up hitting two does. Yay!

That day when L.J. got done with school we went to a local farm to pick some strawberries. L.J. picked a few and then was more interested in the teeter-totter and John Deere farm wagon. We also got to see the miniature horse named Banjo.



Friday night L.J. and I went to dinner with Dad (mom was at a musical) and then we stayed at their house so we could get up early Saturday. Saturday morning we went to the gator store to get championship tshirts. Then we headed downtown to watch the Rodeo Parade. It wasn't very long at all, but it was something cute and L.J. really liked it. They handed out beads, candy and he got a free tshirt. From there we went over to Parkesdale Farms for some fresh veggies, Smokey Bones for lunch, and Cheryl's house for a visit. Since we were close to it, Dad wanted to stop at the motorcycle shop. L.J. wanted to sit on every one of them on the showroom floor. I can see our whole family back in bikes before too long. We all miss riding so much. I had my first bike at 3-1/2, but then quit riding around junior high school time because we were so involved in dance and school activities.





After our whirlwind trip that day, Mom and I walked her neighborhood and then L.J. and I came home after dinner to sleep in our own house. Sunday we hung out here and mom and dad came over to see L.J. ride. It was a pretty uneventful day, but it was relaxing.
