Little Christmas things...

This week hasn't been quite as chaotic as the past few. Monday L.J. went to school as usual and we made a little snowman ornament when he got home.

Tuesday we ran several errands...shopping, L.J.'s haircut, picked up our family photos, etc. We ended the trip out when he had a meltdown in Books-A-Million when it was time to leave the train table area. Oh that boy and trains these days! That night he stayed at mom and dad's while I went to a board meeting.

Wednesday was his school Christmas party. We all took in gifts for the class that they opened and then they had lunch. Not as big a deal at the school as Thanksgiving was, but it was cute.

Thursday L.J. spent the day with Dave and Janie and then we all ate over there that night.

Yesterday was just school and home getting ready for our party tonight. L.J. brought home a "gift" for us which included a picture of him in a little frame, a gingerbread ornament for the tree and a snowglobe made out of a baby food jar. Cute!

Although it was a quiet week, we sang Christmas songs, made ornaments and I have been asked a million times this week if he could open a present. He really understands it this year and wants to see what's in those packages. :)

here's some new layouts too...
