Last night mom and I took L.J. to see the Veggie Tales Live! God Made You Special show. It was really good!!! The vegetable character costumes were spot on and even though it was 1 hr 45 min show (with a 15 minute intermission) they kept it moving really well. They performed several songs, blew bubbles and streamers into the audience and had all the kids (and adults) dancing to the Boyz in the Sink song.
When we first got there of course they were selling merchandise so L.J. got new DVDs, CDs and a tshirt from mom and then I had to buy him the Bob the Tomato hat...so cute! He danced and clapped and sang right up until the end when he started getting tired. The last song they sang was the theme song and he perked up again for that one. I'm so glad we went because he really seemed to enjoy it and talked about it all the way home...until he fell asleep.
Taking pics in there was kinda hard with the weird lighting and you weren't really supposed to have flash cameras or video cameras, but I tried to get a few decent ones.
