Last night we went the local Campfire Creepy Crawly Fall Festival. Jay was working late so Mom and Dad went with us. Since L.J.'s Buzz Lightyear costume is going to get so much wear on the actual day of Halloween I went ahead and gave him the Spiderman one that I got on sale the other day. (I was going to save it for Christmas as a dress-up present)
Anyway, when we first got there we went straight over to the face painter who did a very cool Spidey face for him so he wouldn't have to wear his mask. He was very still as she did it and then didn't really move his face much for a while like he wasn't sure if he was going to mess it up. Then he made a bird feeder bat with peanut butter and seeds, made a spider out of an Oreo Cakester and pretzels and then played a bunch of the carnival type games for candy prizes.
After that he made a pumpkin on a stick and then we headed over for "dinner". How can you pass up a hot dog, chips and a drink for $2.00? He gobbled down the first one and then wanted a second (which he only ate half of). Then they did the costume contest so we stuck around for him to stand in line with the other kids.
Jay was working one street up from the festival so we popped in there for him to see L.J.'s Spidey face before heading home.
Here are the pics...CREEPY CRAWLY PHOTOS
