No, no, no...

I guess it's the age and I'll say it before anyone else does "It's just a phase", but the word "NO" is completely annoying to me now. That is L.J.'s favorite word, whether it applies to the situation or not. I'm working on the just ignore him until he says another word approach...haha.

Last weekend we went to Dawn and Tracy's Housewarming Party on Saturday afternoon. They really did an awesome job on completely redoing the whole house from top to bottom.

That night was our Poker Tournament for Juniors. Bianchi and Jay came and played, but were the first two out so they hung out for a while and then headed up to Wing House to watch the fight. When I got done, I met them up there and then we went to Gonzo's for a while...woohoo! LOL We are definitely getting older...after being out until almost 3am, all Jay wanted to do Sunday was sleep. I'm not sure how he slept that night with all the little naps he had that day (in between L.J. waking him up).

Monday night was Open House at L.J.'s school. We got to hear about the typical daily routine for them and then they told us about the different skills they are working on. L.J. was very relaxed and wanted to stay and play since not all the kids were there. He loves a much smaller group. He was very excited to show his daddy where he went to school.

How cool is it that his symbol on the floor and at his table is a fish?

When we got home that night he played outside in a very stylish (and Florida summer-appropriate) hat.

The rest of this week has been pretty quiet. I started with a sore throat Monday and didn't hesitate to go to the walk-in clinic on Tuesday to make sure it didn't get worse, because usually I wait too long and it's awful.

Wednesday we took in books (some donated from L.J.'s collection and some new) to his classroom. They are having a contest this week to see which class can bring in the most and they win an ice cream party.

and here's a few layouts that I did since the last post...
