Margaritas, fish faces, mud trucks and birthday party!

Friday night L.J. and Jay went to dinner and to the arcade while I had a Margarita Spa Party at my house for the mom's group. We all brought yummy food and drank a little before Stacey went through all the facials, hand scrubbing and foot treatments. It was so great to get together with all of them because we haven't done it in so long.

MOM'S NIGHT OUT PHOTOS

Saturday we went with mom, dad and Christy's whole crew over to the Florida Sportsman Fishing Expo. The boys all wore their fishing shirts and had there faces painted while we were there. The guy who did the painting had no use of his arms so he painted by holding the brush in his mouth. He was amazing! I couldn't have painted the snook and sailfish that he did on the boys' cheeks any better using my hand. They were so proud walking around with their artwork on their faces.

After that we went back to mom's house and they swam and played for a while before we went over to Grandpa's for dinner. They had fun throwing oranges around in the backyard (even though they were still green and shouldn't have been picked yet).

FISHING EXPO AND GRANDPA'S HOUSE PHOTOS

When we left Grandpa's Jay, L.J. and I headed out to Bubba's Mud Ranch to watch the truck races. L.J. loved it! Our friends are so great with him and made sure he was right up front so he got the best view at the starting line. He thought it was so cool to wear the new rain boots (CARS themed) out there and he even got a little dirty playing with the dry dirt. When the races first started he was shaking every time they took off, but after the first few he really just got into cheering for them. Especially Opielicious - or in L.J.'s terms - the red truck.

Today we went over to Ed's house for Watson's birthday party. They did it as a Halloween theme so all the kids could wear their costumes. They did a little parade around the house so they could all show off to the adults and then she awarded ribbons and little plastic medals to them all for participating. They also had a pinata which normally L.J. runs from, but this time he actually took a few whacks at it. When it finally busted open he ran over and got one lollipop while all the other kids scrambled to get as much as possible. I had to keep telling him to go back and grab more. I guess he thought one was enough.
