Port Charlotte

School is going sooo well! L.J. actually started playing with the kids, speaks up at circle time now and is "very vocal" when saying the blessing. The teachers said it's like he's so excited to eat that he yells "Amen" at the end of it. They also started "pre-writing" which he loves to practice at home (see pics below).

Last week we put in a new bar upstairs that Jay got at a furniture store going out of business. It was very heavy and thought the guys would never get it upstairs, but it's there now and we just have to finish putting it back together. I'll post pics when it's done.

This past weekend we went to our new vacation house in Port Charlotte. L.J. had a blast playing with Brooklynn the whole time. We're going to have to figure out the area for fishing but the weather was still pretty windy making the water too rough to really do anything.

L.J. got to be the first kid in the class to take home "Alyssa". It's a stuffed little girl that the kids will each get to take on an adventure. After the weekend we wrote a little story about what he and Alyssa did in Port Charlotte and he drew a picture to share with the class yesterday. He was so excited about Alyssa that he thought he was supposed to take her home again yesterday.
