Keys, lobster and robots...

I can't believe I haven't blogged since July. Wow...time just slips by. L.J. is adjusting well to his new school. The teacher said that he plays by himself alot but is doing well. He still gets weepy at drop-off time, but can't stop talking about what all he did when I pick him up. I enrolled him in the CompuChild program there too where twice a month they have a computer class. He loves that. They also do gymnastics twice a month too. He brought home his very first school project...a robot made from boxes. I'm so proud :)

We spent a week at work since Melissa was out on vacation. L.J. was with me there when he wasn't in school. He did very well for being bored out of his mind. We had a DVD player set up for him and he played on the computer a lot. He was so excited to be at "Daddy's work". He was sick that Friday couldn't go to school. I guess it takes about a week and a half for the preschool germs to kick in on a kid who has never been. :)

Last week Jay and I took off for the Keys with a big group while L.J. stayed with mom and dad. Although we didn't get as many lobster as everyone wanted, it was still a good trip. I flew down so I got to cut out half of the 6-7 hour drive. We went to Key West shopping one day and down to Duval St. a couple nights to have some fun. On my birthday Jenn got me a little baby cupcake to celebrate since I am trying to watch what I'm eating. Jay found a candle there at the house and they sang to me...so sweet. Bummer was that on the very first day on the boat going out of the canal I lost my Costa Del Mar sunglasses...ugh! Oh well, I've had them for quite a while and am surprised this didn't happen sooner.
