There's no question that we've had our bouts of the sickies here in our house since the beginning of the year. Luckily I haven't gotten it yet...knock on wood. Libby over at the Sweet Shoppe posed some interesting questions to all of us scrappers about what it's like when we're sick...so here goes with my answers.
1. How often do you get sick with a cold? The flu? Something else?
I usually get a really bad cold about once a year and I get the flu every few
years. Not too bad I guess.
2. Are you the sort of person who goes to work or school no matter how sick you are or are you willing to stay at home when it gets bad?
When I was working in an office I was there no matter what unless I just couldn't
stand up or drive. I was a pretty determined sickie.
3. How do you like to treat a cold? What remedies do you like and why? Do you go to the doctor willingly?
I used to just take some Nyquil and call it done until the week of misery was
over, but as I get older and with having L.J. in the house, it's really better if
I just jot up to the walk-in clinic and get prescribed some real meds.
4. What do you do to keep from getting sick in the winter?
I tend to wash my hands ALOT when everyone else is sick. I figure it's just
about the only normal thing to do to keep from spreading it.
5. What is your favorite thing to do when you stay home from work or school?
Curl up on the couch with a blanket and a good supply of DVR'd shows to watch.
Here you go Libby! I hope you start feeling better soon!
