Halloween Festivities!!!

This week we went to Campfire's Creepy Crawly on Tuesday night. L.J. colored a Frankenstein head made of popsicle sticks, played the toss the bean bag in the hole game, and Jay carved a foam pumpkin. They also helped each other do the scavenger hunt for coins and decorated a cookie with Halloween sprinkles and icing. I dressed L.J. as a basketball player because his boxer costume has too much white to be wearing it so far away from Halloween, plus we went to Pizza Hut afterwards...that would not have been pretty.

Wednesday night I went to get my hair chopped off - FINALLY!!! I was just waiting for the walk to be over. It feels so much healthier now.

Then we went up to West Marine to hear Shannon and Tracy do a fishing seminar on inshore grouper. L.J. ran around the store the whole time, but he was fairly quiet and didn't disturb anyone listening. Then there was a quick trip to Lowe's before heading home.

Last night we went to Dave and Janie's for dinner. She got Olive Garden take-out - YUM! (and obviously she had ice cream sandwiches too)

Finally to end the week we had our LMOM playdate today...Glitter Gourds! We took a squash and mini pumpkin to decorate with the group. We went to a park on the northside in one of the member's neighborhoods. It was really a cute little park and all the kids did so well. L.J. colored and painted his pumpkin and then went back over to play on the slides and swings.
