The last week or so has been pretty busy. We went to Kaleigh's Birthday Party where L.J. loved the water guns. Him and Titus wanted nothing to do with the giant water slide that all the other kids were on, but they both walked around collecting the little water pistols and water balloons.
No way...not going on that thing!

Pow! Pow!

We also went to a couple of Masyn's T-ball games where L.J. just wanted to play in the dirt, on the playground or eat. It was miserably hot and he was filthy after both games.
Masyn on the pitcher's mound.

L.J.'s been missing his weekly visits with Gram and Daddy Dave too since they have both had some procedures done that made them unable to keep up with rowdy boy. I'm sure they will be back up to par in no time and ready to chase him again.
Last week we went over to mom and dad's just about every day and went swimming. L.J. absolutely LOVES it. He never wants to get out. He figured out he can touch the bottom of the shallow end so now he just walks to you from there.

Jay, Corey, Mark and Brandon fished the "King of the Beach" kingfish tournament on Saturday. I guess for never having even tried to catch them, they did pretty good. They were going to have Brandon enter his in the Youth Division, but didn't make it to the weigh-in on time to check in. Natalie and I rode over there to see the weigh-in and then bring the guys back after we had dinner.
Yesterday we went to the water park at Cypress Gardens for the first time. He didn't care too much for the slide, playhouse area at all...too much water coming down on his head. I think L.J.'s favorite part was the wave pool. At first he was just enjoying swimming around where he could touch. But then the waves started and he really got excited. He was walking right into them, laughing, getting knocked down and then would get up and do it again. He is a little too brave in the water I think.
On a mission to get to the water...

What? I'm not going on that slide!

Now we come to the title of my post. It's long been said that men don't listen to women...I have proof that made me look like the idiot! We were on the lazy river yesterday and the photographer in the water went to take our picture. She said "Make a funny face" and this was the result!

(Sorry the picture's not very good quality.)
