I Met A Clown Today!

Today we went to a children's fair put on by Family Fundamentals at the YMCA Par 3. Different organizations were set up with handouts, free things for the kids and adults, crafts, etc. L.J. didn't want to get in the bounce house because of all the kids, was a little too young to do the crafts, was very perplexed by the puppet show and lastly was very timid around Buttercup the clown. She was trying to give him one of her "I Met A Clown Today" stickers, but he just kept backing away so she gave it to me to put on him.

We didn't stay for a long time since all L.J. wanted to do was run up and down the golf course (and it was actively being used), but it was something to get us out of the house for a while.

Last night at mom and dad's when I went to pick him up, he was watching Barney and making the motions for one of the songs - very cute! It is a farm song and when it goes "Down on Grandpa's farm there is a black and white skunk, the skunk it always smells like this - Phew!" he holds his nose like the kids do on the movie.

Here's a few pics from today ...
I got a free book!

and tried to move the tee box markers...

See my sticker!

Not too sure about the puppets...
